You’ve got questions…

Truthfully, just about anything. Initially, my focus was on interior design, particularly kitchens and bathrooms. My educational background led me to specialize in graphic design. Throughout my career, I’ve designed art installations, websites and apps, trade show booths, commercials, logos, packaging, and much more. Additionally, I’ve ventured into furniture design, commercial interior spaces, outdoor structures, apparel, and more. My ethos centers on championing good design across all mediums.

In short, both. My creative journey spans various mediums and disciplines, blending the visionary elements of art with the practicality and problem-solving skills of design. Whether I’m crafting visually stunning pieces or conceptualizing functional solutions, my approach integrates artistic expression with thoughtful design principles to bring ideas to life.

I have been creating art for as long as I can remember. I’ve been employed as a designer of some fashion for more than 30 years. My first paid gig was painting window signs in the Long John Silver’s (fast-food of the sea) in 1991. My High School art teacher recommended me. My first real job using my design skills was  a few years later. I worked in the Kitchen and Bath Center at the local home store, helping people see what their room could look like in 3D! (Computers were new and exciting back then). The bulk of my career unfolded in advertising agencies, punctuated by a transformative chapter wherein I founded and managed my own design studio.

People. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about what makes them, them.

Food. I love cooking. I love exploring new flavors. I love plant-based food and finding amazing chefs who are making it the best!

Environment. I love getting outside. Gardening. Hiking and exploring. Kayaking with my kids or sitting by a pond skipping rocks. It’s usually better outside.

Are you cool?

If so, I’d say the chances are pretty good.
